Don't worry, I haven't died or anything. DeviantArt just became.. something that kind of fell to the wayside for me. Ever since the update, my desire to be here and navigate the site has decreased exponentially. So.. where am I now? What am I up to? I bet none of you care, but I'm saying it anyway. I'm still doing art, but it's more for personal reasons now. I do art for me, not necessarily for anyone else, and I'm okay with that. I'm practicing and picking up new techniques, and I'm proud of how far I've come. I've also gotten more into photography, and may start something with that. My focus as of late has been on video games, and I've even been considering starting a YouTube and TikTok dedicated to them. YouTube would be for longer videos, full explanations, etc, while my TikTok would be dedicated to something I've actually started writing scripts for -- One Minute Mario, little bite sized chunks of Mario knowledge that are easy to listen to and digest. Please bear in mind I have a brand new laptop It's slow, laggy, glitchy, and doesn't scroll right. I've tried to scroll and ended up clicking on deviations so many times I have given up try to peruse galleries at this time. Searching deviations is impossible too, I'll look up something I've looked up a thousand times before and get none of the same results. oh and this is just a personal thing but now all of my deviations with the green background i did to create the illusion of transparency now clash so hard with the rest of my gallery it's giving me whiplash. whoops. Not to mention, this journal just took me about ten minutes to write. I've been typing and it'll lag so hard trying to keep up with how fast I type. This is infuriating for many reasons. Regardless of that, though, I'm not leaving completely, as much as I want to. This place is home, has been since 2011. I'm just bummed at how difficult it is to navigate a place I would spend days upon days upon days on.
